The Sentra hit a driveway edge and spun around to the right, then slid into a utility pole, hitting on the driver’s side.

Mr. Wanga was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Alcohol was present and troopers are investigating to determine if it was a factor in the crash, according to the release, which indicates speed did not appear to be a factor.

Norrisville Road was closed for about an hour after the accident.
