LHS JROTCS cadet Elizabeth Gitahi was the 1st place winner of the MLK essay contest sponsored by Hope Worldwide.

Elizabeth Gitahi will receive a $1000 scholarship and will be a guest at a lunch hosted for her accomplishment on Sunday February 5th 2017 at the Buttler Middle School 1140 Gorham Street Lowell,Massachusetts.
