Kenyans Protest ‘Unbelievable’ A Plain Scored by Kabarak Student
Kenyans on social media have taken a swipe at a Moi Kabarak School student who scored an A plain in last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), after performing poorly in internal exams.
Brian Kamau had previously scored a D- in his form three third term exams, becoming position 210 out of 289. He was promoted to form four and retained the index number of 210.
Despite his academic background, the young lad managed to miraculously score a mean grade of A plain with 83 points out of the possible 84, a performance her mother Doris Wangui, attributes to prayers.
Ms Wangui fellowships at the Jubilee Christian Church which has a huge following in Nairobi.

However, most Kenyans held a different view regarding the rare improvement in performance by Kamau. While some dismissed the results as a case of blatant cheating, others believed the miracle account.
The school had 202 candidates scoring A plains with the last student managing a B plain.
