Currently the Worcester regional chamber under the vibrant leadership of former Lt. Governor Tim Murray has re-ignited development and is attracting investors from different regions especially from Boston.( see: http://bizj.us/ub2qr of Feb 10th 2014).
The chamber strives to attract people to come and work in Worcester and even relocate to this beautiful city of seven hills. “The Chamber’s Business Resource Assistance Center allows members to access a wide range of financial and technical assistance programs and services, at one central location, a convenient and valuable service for those business owners, entrepreneurs and developers whose time is precious” (https://www.worcesterchamber.org/information-about-the-chamber)
During our exclusive interview, Raphael reiterated that the immigrant entrepreneurs and minority small business should reach out to the chamber for guidance and to tap resources and services the chamber may provide.
Mr Bibiu noted the chamber fosters business development and strives to influence regulatory and public policy environments to promote a business friendly atmosphere in the region. There are many benefits a business is likely to obtain through networking with other members as well as using the chamber as a mouthpiece to articulate concerns that may affect businesses and therefore communities.
