From Eldoret to Million-Dollar Success in the U.S.
A Kenyan entrepreneur based in the United States is gaining attention after building a fast-rising healthcare platform that has surpassed $1 million in record time.
Allan Njoroge, who hails from Eldoret, is the founder of ShiftNex a healthcare staffing platform that is quickly changing how professionals access job opportunities across the country.
In under five months, ShiftNex has achieved more than $1 million in annual recurring revenue, a milestone that many startups take years to reach. The platform links nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare workers to available shifts, helping to ease staffing shortages in hospitals and care facilities.
So far, more than 5,000 workers nationwide are already using the platform.
Before launching ShiftNex, Allan had established Actriv, a healthcare staffing agency that operates across 13 states. This experience played a key role in shaping his transition into the digital healthcare space.
His journey highlights how entrepreneurs are leveraging technology to scale businesses faster and respond to growing market needs.
With demand for healthcare professionals continuing to rise, platforms like ShiftNex are expected to have a significant impact on the future of the industry.
