Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi will give a public lecture at the University of Nairobi today as part of a two-day official visit to Kenya.
Renzi, who arrived on Tuesday evening, will give the address at UoN’s Taifa Hall from 10am.
He will speak on challenges of development and building bridges to combat extremism, Vice Chancellor Peter Mbithi said on his twitter account.
The PM met President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi upon his arrival.
He is expected to lead his delegation in bilateral talks with Uhuru, featuring cooperation in the war on terror and investment, said State House spokesman Manoah Esipisu.
Renzi was received by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohamed.
