Gospel Star Daddy Owen To Say ‘I Do’ To Sizzling Beauty In Private Ceremony
Top Kenyan gospel singer Daddy Owen is one of the most celebrated and talented singers in the country, with a huge fan following both in rural and urban areas of the country.
Daddy Owen has been secretive about his love life until back in 2014 when he revealed the woman in his life, Farida Wambui, during his brother’s wedding to gospel singer Krystal.
Though that was the first time for the lovely couple to come out in public, the two have known each other for 4 years and are not just lovers, but also friends, who love each other unconditionally.
Daddy Owen proposed to the beautiful Farida back in 2013 and since then we have been eager to see them say ‘I do’. Good news! The D-day is finally here.
The Vanity gospel singer will walk down the aisle with the love of his life Farida tomorrow, Saturday April 2 at an invite-only wedding, at an undisclosed location in Nairobi. The church wedding will be at Buruburu Kenya Assempblies Of God Church.
“Trying to finalise the guest list for my wedding… jus wondering how do wazungu do it? They can hack wedo ya watu 20? My family alone tunagonga 100! Ama i borrow a leaf from my celebrity couple friends (sic)” Daddy Owen wrote nine months ago.
The wedding has been kept a secret because they are both very private people. Only family, close friends and celebrities will grace the wedding. The nuptials will take place in church to be followed by a dinner party.
Daddy Owen and Farida are ecstatic and happy to finally spend the rest of their lives together as they both profess their undying love to each other. Farida, who’s close to Daddy’s entire family, is a fashion designer and his personal advisor.
Congratulations to the awesome couple as they exchange their vows and join the list of recently married celebrities like Janet Mbugua and Eddy Ndichu, Dennis Okari and Betty Kyalo among others. ,
