‘Dunia Gunia’: Nyali MP ‘Moha Jichopevu’ Makes New Documentary Exposing Rot in Kenya’s Parliament

Nyali MP Mohammed Ali alias ‘Moha Jichopevu’ has reportedly produced a new documentary that exposes corrupt Members of Parliament.

In a social media post after holding a five-hour meeting with Ali, Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi said the former investigative journalist shared with him shocking details of the high levels of corruption among MPs that he has witnessed in his first year in Parliament.

Mwangi said Ali described to him how the legislative arm of government has been held hostage by what he termed as mega-corruption.

Ali, according to Mwangi, claims that every media house he approached to air the explosive documentary dubbed Dunia Gunia, are unwilling to do so.

“Mohamed Ali depressed me. We don’t have a Parliament, but an auction house. Moha wants to talk. He has done his first Jicho Pevu exposé since he was elected; it’s called Dunia Gunia,” Mwangi wrote.

“What Moha desperately wants is allies to work with and expose the rot within Parliament and in the Government. He said Kenyans deserve to know the truth, but he can’t fight alone,” said Mwangi, a former Starehe Parliamentary candidate.
