Derrick Ngumu Director of Angaza Empowerment Network is the man who has filed a petition against Supreme Court judges Philomena Mwilu and Isaac Lenaola – Ngumu alleged that Siaya Senator James Orengo and his Bungoma counterpart Moses Wetang’ula were in contact with the judges through proxies – TUKO.co.ke has learnt that Ngumu is determined to ‘drain the swamp at the Supreme Court’ Kenyans on Tuesday, September 19 woke up to a damning report linking senior Opposition leaders and lawyers to a dirty game with Supreme Court judges during the hearing of a presidential petition. The man had filed an explosive affidavit with the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) seeking a probe into the conduct of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu and Justice Isaac Lenaola. In the affidavit, the two judges have been portrayed as having been working with the Opposition to deliver a favourable ruling.
Derrick Ngumu, is the founder of Mombasa based Angaza Empowerment Network.
Previously, he worked at HAKI Africa as a human rights activist. He studied procurement at Moi University and purchasing and supplies at University of Nairobi.
He sat for his KCSE exams at Machakos Boys High School and currently stays in Mombasa where he works, according to information on his Facebook page.
