Video:President Kenyatta says he won’t interfere with Jubilee primaries

President Uhuru Kenyatta now says he is willing to mediate and broker a truce among rival jubilee aspirants but insists he will not favour anyone. Speaking this evening in an exclusive interview with Citizen TV’s Nipashe Wikendi crew, President Kenyatta specifically stated that was would not favour either Peter Kenneth or Senator Mike Sonko for the Nairobi governor seat. At the same time, the president said he will not stop jubilee aspirants facing graft allegations insisting it was up to the relevant institutions to vet and clear candidates.
