IURGENT COMMUNITY APPEAL : FOUR KENYANS ESCAPE A FIRE TRAGEDY IN MALDEN, MASSACHUSETTS
Four Kenyans (Tony Kamau, Bernard Makumi, James Mathenge and Cloudy Mugeni), were rendered homeless on Mar 4, 2023, after an electric fire in their apartment in Malden, MA.
Fifteen minutes later, per the Malden fire department the house would have blown up. The men escaped with their lives and a few possessions.
Currently homeless, they are being housed by the Red Cross emergency housing on a very temporary basis (the assistance ends tonight).
An urgent appeal to every Kenyan, church & community organization to assist the men financially is now underway to settle them into a new apartment. The need is urgent in this cold weather.
