Transition/Death Announcement of Susan Wangu Muturi, a long-time resident of Lowell, Massachusetts

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Susan Wangu Muturi, a long-time resident of Lowell, Massachusetts, who departed this life on January 6, 2026, in Nakuru, Kenya, following her relocation to Kenya in December 2025. At the time of her passing, she was receiving treatment at Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Nakuru, and transitioned peacefully while surrounded by her loving family.
Susan was the beloved wife of Francis Muturi and a devoted mother to Mary Waithira Njoroge of Nashua, New Hampshire (Samaria Cell Group, St. Stephen’s ACK Church Dracut, MA), and to George, Joseph, Patrick, Simon, and Kennedy, all of Kenya. She was also a cherished mother-in-law to Charles Njoroge of Nashua, NH, a loving aunt to Teresia Kamau and Joseph Kairu of Dracut, MA, and a proud grandmother to Cecilia, Mary, Gabriel, Liam, and Ryan.

Family and friends are meeting at 30 Dickerman Street, Nashua, New Hampshire (Exit 4).
Memorial Service:
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, immediately after the church service at:
St. Stephen’s ACK Church

Susan was a woman of strong faith whose life reflected love, humility, and service to others. She is survived by many loving family members and friends in Kenya and abroad who will forever cherish her memory.
