Meet Viona Shina Leboo, a Kenyan girl from Oloitokitok.

Viona is a third-year student, studying courtesy of Equity Bank’s Young Achievers program. She beat several contestants to be elected students representative in the Faculty of Technology at Harvard which has 914 students.

Her dream is to save fellow Maa girls from FGM and enable them to excel in school as she did in her 2010 KCSE examinations in Uasin Gishu district.

The Economics student says that her favorite thing about Harvard is the support that she gets as a student whether it is her class or her house.
