Student falls from 3rd floor of University of Massachusetts Boston campus center

A University of Massachusetts Boston student was rushed to a nearby hospital Tuesday after falling from the third story of a building on campus.

The student fell inside the building, from the third floor of the Campus Center “in view of students, faculty, and staff,” the university said in a statement.

The student fell from an indoor balcony into a study atrium on the ground floor. Here’s a look at the atrium from an upper floor. 

Details on the condition of male student, who has not been identified, were not made available by university officials.READ MORE
