When you get infected by COVID-19 virus, you will have highest fever you’ve ever had in your life. It is not going to be like the typical flu fever. You will have headaches and chest pain. You’re going to breathe slowly, like you have a sponge stuck in your throat. You will have shortness of breath. You’ll feel like you are drowning and that will scare you. You’ll cough a lot; so much that you’ll feel like passing out. Every time you cough, your chest, arms, back, fingers, and toes will hurt.
The nurse will give you oxygen and you’ll have a burning sensation on your nose all the way down to your lungs. It will hurt.
If you are still unable to breath, the doctor will put a couple of half-inch tubes down your throat to get past your bronchi and into your lungs. That’s what they call an artificial respirator. It gives you a very uncomfortable feeling. After intubation, you will not be able to speak or eat.
You will be alone in a closed room. You will not be able to see your partner, your parents, your friends, or your children. You will be alone. And when it’s time for you to die, you’ll die ALONE!

This will make you understand why they asked you to stay home, wash your hands, sanitize, maintain your distance and wear a mask.
