President Ruto Joins Political and Business Leaders at Karen Blixen Wedding

A high-profile wedding at the Karen Blixen Museum on Saturday, 12 April, brought together senior political leaders, business figures, and prominent public personalities.

The ceremony united Ronnie Kiprono and Terry Mwendwa in an event attended by William Ruto and several officials aligned with the Kenya Kwanza administration. Among those present were Stephen Sang, Nelson Koech, and Hassan Omar, who interacted with Cabinet Secretaries and legislators. Kimani Ichung’wah also attended despite unrest reported in his constituency on the same day.

County leaders were widely represented, including Cecily Mbarire, Anne Waiguru, and Susan Kihika. Kihika was accompanied by businessman Sam Mburu. Senior national officials such as Kipchumba Murkomen and Julius Bitok were also present.

Members of the business community attended alongside political leaders, including DL Langat and Mburu Junior, as well as a relative of Hassan Joho. Former radio presenter Shaffie Weru was among the guests. The arrival of attendees in a convoy that featured numerous Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons highlighted the scale of the event.

President Ruto offered a brief message of congratulations to the couple and presented a commemorative painting. Speeches were limited, maintaining a formal and celebratory atmosphere.
