Missing in Maryland: Kenyan Family Seeks Answers on Disappearance of Branson Oduor

A Kenyan family in Baltimore, Maryland, is searching for their 27-year-old son, Branson Oduor, who went missing after a night out on Saturday, 4 April.
According to reports, Branson was last seen at about 2:15 am leaving a bar on the 1600 block of Thames Street in Fells Point. He was later sighted around 4 am near South Central Avenue, running north between Harbour East and Little Italy. At the time, he was wearing a dark blue hoodie, a white or tan hat, and glasses. He is described as 5 ft 9 in tall and weighing approximately 150 lbs.
Family members said Branson had been a marathon runner during his school years and was known for his outgoing nature. His girlfriend described him as kind and sociable, noting that he connected easily with others. His bicycle has since been found, but his phone remains switched off, increasing concern among relatives and friends.
The family has asked anyone who may have seen him to report to the nearest police station. They have also urged residents near the areas where he was last seen to review security camera footage recorded between 2:15 am and 8 am. Flyers have been distributed locally as part of a community search effort.
Witnesses reported that Branson fell from his bicycle several times before leaving it behind, which may explain why he was later seen running. His disappearance has prompted concern among neighbours and friends, many of whom have joined the search.
Online responses have included calls for authorities to examine possible connections to other disappearances in Fells Point, as well as suggestions to search nearby waters. The family continues to appeal for public assistance as efforts to locate him continue.
