Kiambu DG Dr. James Nyoro on Friday accompanied Trade CS Peter Munya on a visit to Uplands Bacon Factory in Lari sub-county.
Duo was on a familiarization tour to not only see the production process but also listen to and understand challenges facing the factory’s revival and daily operations.
The visit is in line with the Manufacturing pillar of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s #Big4Agenda and Dr. Nyoro promised that the county will work hand in hand with the national government to deliver jobs and prosperity for all Kenyans.
