Kenyan public servants yet to declare their wealth, risk paying Ksh1 million fine or serve a one-year jail term

700, 000 Kenyan public servants yet to declare their wealth, risk paying Ksh1 million fine or serve a one-year jail term. EACC has issued circulars to 118 commissions demanding immediate submittion of Declaration of Income, Assets, and Liabilities (DIAL) before December 31 deadline. EACC says officers might also face a salary stoppage, get show-cause letters, interdiction, and suspension.
