Kenyan mum shares heartbreaking story of how her son, 20, committed suicide in their apartment (video)
The video was shot on World Mental Health Day, as Jaqueline Mutere told her story to Kenyan youth from Mukuru Settlements. The event happened at Cathedral of Praise church on 10th October 2020.
In a bid to lend her voice to the importance of mental health, a Kenyan mum, Jacqueline Matere, has shared the heartbreaking story of how her 20-year-old son, became depressed and eventually committed suicide in their apartment.
Jacquiline was invited as a guest to speak to young people on the importance of taking care of their mental space and not to consider suicide as a way out.
The bereaved mum recounted how her younger children alerted her to come to their balcony to see the body of her son hanging. She said it was a horrific sight.READ MORE
