Kenyan Diaspora Community Rallies to Support Funeral Expenses for Joackim “Jimmy” Waweru Ng’ang’a

Community Appeals for Support to Give Joackim “Jimmy” Waweru Ng’ang’a a Dignified Farewell in Massachusetts

We are reaching out to our community with heavy hearts following the recent passing on of Joackim “Jimmy” Waweru Ng’ang’a.

We are relieved and grateful to share that, with the help of our community, we have successfully located Joackim’s sibling, Sister Anne Ng’ang’a, in Washington, D.C. Sister Anne is a Catholic nun and a member of the Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary, where she resides in George Town monastery.

While we are comforted that Joackim’s family has now been reached, the circumstances surrounding his passing on present significant logistical and financial challenges. Joackim’s remaining siblings—a brother and a sister with special needs—reside in Kenya with their 80-year-old mother.

It is the family’s heartfelt wish that Joackim be laid to rest here in Massachusetts, USA the place he called home.

As his family navigates this profound loss from across the globe, we are appealing to our community for support in helping cover Joackim’s funeral and burial expenses. Any contribution, regardless of the amount, will be deeply appreciated and will go directly toward ensuring that Joackim receives the dignified and respectful farewell he deserves.
