This award recognized her over 40 years of excellence on our screens, her legacy on Vitimbi at KBC, and her unwavering dedication to mentoring the next generation, including her vibrant presence on TikTok where she continues to inspire the youth.

While in the U.S., Mama Kayai not only received this milestone award but also engaged with the Kenyan Diaspora and American communities in North Carolina and Minnesota, carrying with her the spirit of Kenyan culture and storytelling to the world.
