Jomo Kenyatta’s State House and his callous handlers

Mzee Jomo Kenyatta working in his office at State House Nairobi. The desk looks so cluttered with papers and six landline telephones.
Nowadays key technological advancements have contributed to less cluttered desks unlike before.
Ellerton who worked as Chief Secretary/ Head of Public Service, recalled how he would send Kenyatta government documents to sign, but they would pile up on his desk.
Whenever he got tired of waiting , he would go back to Mzee to remind him about the documents.
Mzee would then call Mboya or Njonjo to go through each document and tell him which one to sign.
