With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mzee Francis Kiarie Kamwana, of Canton, MA (USA), who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
Mzee Francis was a devoted husband to Elizabeth Njoki Kiarie (Canton) and a cherished father to Mary, Peter, Joseph, (Lucy, Christine and Teresa of Canton, MA). He was a beloved brother to the late Kironyo, Ndungi, Njeri, Buta, Wanjiru, and Waweru, and a loving grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many.
He passed away peacefully at Boston Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family and close friends. His final moments were marked by prayers, love, and the warmth and kindness that defined his life.
Mzee Francis will be laid to rest at his home in Kinangop, Kenya.
