In Loving Memory Of Graham G. Gichiengo

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Graham G. Gichiengo,of Richmond, Massachusetts, who departed this life on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. At the time of his passing, he was
undergoing treatment at Baystate Hospital in Massachusetts.
Born in Kijabe, Kenya, Graham was the son of Lizzie Waruguru Gichiengo of Kenya and the late Gordon Maina
Gichiengo.
He was the beloved husband of Priscilla Gichiengo, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage, having been united
on November 13, 1971. He was a devoted father to Elizabeth Slememer and Sarah Gichiengo Miles, both of
Connecticut, and a proud and loving grandfather to six grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Lizzie Waruguru Gichiengo, and his siblings: Martha Kamau, the late Mathew
Gichiengo, Anne Njoroge, Grace Mwangi (Kenya), Mary Gichiengo (USA), Isaac Gichiengo (USA), and Helen
Gichiengo (UK).
Graham was a man full of warmth, banter, and laughter, whose life reflected love, humility, and service to others.
He is also survived by many other relatives and friends in Kenya, the United States, and around the world who will
forever cherish his memory.
Graham will be cremated in Richmond, Massachusetts, at Dwyer Funeral Home, and a private service will be held
thereafter (date forthcoming). A memorial service and final send-off will take place in Kenya once his family’s travel
logistics are finalized. The siblings in the diaspora will also accompany his family (final date forthcoming).
