H.E. Rigathi Gachagua Engages Kenyan Community in Boston

H.E. Rigathi Gachagua continued his engagement with Kenyans living in the Boston area, emphasizing the importance of unity, consultation, and practical ideas that can help make Kenya a better place to live and work.

During the visit, H.E. Gachagua met members of the Kenyan community in Marlborough, Massachusetts, where they held constructive discussions on opportunities for collaboration between Kenyans in the diaspora and those at home.

The discussions focused on bringing together diverse ideas, experiences, and expertise from the Kenyan community abroad in order to develop practical agreements and solutions that can contribute to Kenya’s social and economic progress.

“It was a privilege to discuss opportunities for collaboration with the Kenyan community in Marlborough, Massachusetts,” H.E. Gachagua said. “Our conversation was fruitful.”

He noted that Kenyans in the diaspora remain an important part of the country’s development journey. Through their professional skills, investments, remittances, networks, and commitment to national progress, diaspora communities can play a meaningful role in building a stronger and more prosperous Kenya.

The engagement in Boston forms part of ongoing consultations with Kenyans living abroad. The aim is to listen to their views, identify shared priorities, and build a practical framework for working together toward a Kenya that offers greater opportunity, dignity, and prosperity for all.
Consultations continue.
