H.E. Amb. David Kerich Champions Diaspora Investment at Daring Abroad Forum in Massachusetts
Worcester, Massachusetts – August 4, 2025 —
H.E. Ambassador David Kerich, Kenya’s envoy to the United States, officiated as the Chief Guest at the Daring Abroad Investment Forum held this past weekend in Worcester, Massachusetts. The high-impact event brought together members of the Kenyan Diaspora, policy leaders, and private sector stakeholders, all united in a common purpose: harnessing diaspora investment to propel Kenya’s economic transformation.
In his keynote address, Amb. Kerich emphasized the strategic importance of the Kenyan Diaspora, recognizing their contributions not only through remittances but also in trade facilitation, technology transfer, and investment. He urged attendees to leverage their global networks to create sustainable import-export channels and invest in innovative ventures that strengthen the socio-economic bridge between Kenya and the United States.
“The Kenyan Diaspora is not just an economic asset; you are vital stakeholders in the country’s growth trajectory. The Embassy remains steadfast in supporting and facilitating your investments,” said Amb. Kerich.
The Ambassador further reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to working in close partnership with the Diaspora, offering full diplomatic support for initiatives aimed at creating meaningful economic impact.
A special acknowledgment was extended to Mr. Alex Chamwada, CEO of Chams Media and creator of the Daring Abroad series, for his instrumental role in organizing the forum. Amb.
