ELDERLY PASSENGER DIES ABOARD KENYA AIRWAYS FLIGHT FROM NEW YORK TO NAIROBI.

An elderly passenger has died aboard Kenya Airways flight KQ 003 from New York (JFK) to Nairobi (NBO), the airline has confirmed.
The passenger reportedly collapsed mid-flight, prompting the crew to declare a medical emergency at 0840 hours Nairobi Time.
Assisted by three medical professionals onboard, the crew administered emergency care using the aircraft’s medical equipment.
The flight diverted to Entebbe International Airport (EBB) to seek urgent medical attention.
However, despite resuscitation efforts, the passenger was pronounced dead at 0910 hours East Africa Time (EAT) before landing.
Following confirmation of the death, the flight continued to Nairobi, landing at 1027 hours.
Medical teams and relevant authorities received the aircraft at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Kenya Airways is working with the passenger’s family, local authorities, and aviation regulators to provide support and determine the cause of death.
