It is with deep sorrow that we announce the promotion to glory of Emily Wairimu Maina of Salem, Oregon, on February 27th, 2026.

She was the loving mother of Morris Kariuki Maina of North Carolina; beloved daughter of Barnabas Kariuki Waithaka (D-9) PCEA Neema Church Lowell and Grace Wambui Kariuki; sister to Faith Waithaka (D-10), Tabitha Waithaka (D-6), Nixon Waithaka (All of Boston), and Paul Kamau (Kenya); She was a niece to Rev. Wanyoike (KCIC), Beatrice Riunge, Catherine Njeri (Seattle), and Rachel Warigia(Boston); and cousin to Oliver Mbiyo (New Hampshire), Wellington Waithaka (Alabama), Wellington Waithaka (Seattle), and Emily Ngubia (Seattle).

Daily fellowship/macakaya prayers will be held as follows.

Committee meeting. 5:30pm – 6:00pm

Prayers Macakaya
6:00pm – 7:00pm

Meetings will take place at Faith’s house.
