DCI:Wanted Suspect Arrested Escaping to Dubai

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has pounced on a wanted suspect who was about to board a plane and fly out of the country.

In a statement released on social media on Wednesday, February 26, the DCI announced that officers had arrested Maundu Emmanuel Wambua who was wanted in connection with obtaining money by false pretenses.

Maundu was just about to fly to Dubai in a bid to escape justice.

“The 4 a.m. arrest of the 36-year-old was effected by a joint team of immigration officers and the DCI Nairobi Central detectives and has since been placed in custody pending arraignment,” the statement read.
