California-Based Kenyan DJ “Kenyan Bwoy” Has Passed Away
A Kenyan DJ based in Corona, California suddenly passed away early Monday morning after suffering from a heart attack. John Chege, popularly known as DJ Johnie, or Kenyan Bwoy, was found dead in his home by his wife.
He hailed from Thika, Kenya and leaves behind a wife and two young children.
It is with deep sorrow that we annouce the sudden death of John Chege aka DJ Kenyan Bwoy of Corona, California. John Chege passed on in the morning of August 17th 2015 from heart attack.
He was the son of Patrick Chege and Beatrice Nyambura Chege of Thika. He was a husband to Elizabeth Kiratu Chege ( Corona, Ca) and father to Melissa Nyambura and Sean Chege (Corona, Ca). He was a brother to Irene Chege (Anaheim, Ca).
He was an uncle to Constantine Chege.
