Businesses closed after a 4-day protest against infiltration of alcohol in Isinya
Businesses in Isinya are reeling from the effects of a four-day demonstration by a group of women from the Maasai community who are protesting the infiltration of alcohol dens and what they say is the destruction of families. Over 3,000 women have been taking to the streets, destroying the dens that sell the alcohol both legal and illegal and now they have threatened to attack single women in the area.
