Book Review: You’re Up!: A lifetime performance for the highest glory by Eileen Mwanyiky
Eileen Mwanyiky a first time author, living in Brockton Massachusetts. Married to Sam Thugi, has two lovely children Louis and Kayla. Works as a registered dental hygienist. Attends church where receives instructions in Scripture. Fervent reader of the Word of Truth, found in the Bible.
Since we didn’t create ourselves, then our very existence is not to serve our glory. Just like a craftsman creates for his own purposes. The work of his hands that performs his own purpose functions at the excellence that was intended. Our standard of excellence will not meet the higher standard and quality apart from our Creator.
We have to find motivation to live another day, endure another hour, especially when we have failed. There’s has to be something about us that pushes us through to the very end that has nothing little to do with our own abilities, our looks, what others think about us, and our past hurts by others-those things that would cripple us.
We also have to celebrate those we interact with, our loved one’s, and learn how to better relate to them.
If we find that within ourselves we are incapable of joggling all of this, then within ourselves, regardless of our accomplishments we lack the best intelligence. The short term glory we get for ourselves is unsustainable.
I said, “pushes us through to the very end”. That means makes us endure until we accomplish what we want. Or makes us live this life until our last breath.
God who dwells on High and Who’s ways are higher than ours, has outlined how to live day by day by higher ways of thinking. Because He is our Creator, He has purpose for each one. Performance is to the Creator and for His Glory and not that of ourselves or others. This life is lived in the very life that is not our own. He that is risen above all becomes the very life in us, by His Spirit. Revealing hidden secrets from the Most High and equipping from His Kingdom. Furnished from above as we have access now, we will live for an enduring Glory. We honor Him, and we will not be put to shame . Because we are called to do it all in the Name of Jesus. At the name of Jesus everything bows.
