Announcing the passing of Emmanuel Nyori DeLeon (13) and young Kairu (6) following a tragic car accident
It is with profound sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Emmanuel Nyori DeLeon (13) and young Kairu (6) following a tragic car accident while they were in Kenya on vacation over the December holidays. Emmanuel, Kairu, and their sister Njeri are the children of Wangui Ndirangu, formerly of New Jersey and now residing in Iowa.
Njeri (16) sustained serious injuries in the accident and is currently receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital. We are all holding her in our prayers and standing in faith believing in her quick healing and recovery.
Emmanuel, Kairu, and Njeri are the niece and nephews of Wamuyu, Njeri Wacira and Kairu Nyori Ndirangu. They were also the beloved grandchildren of the late Charity Ndirangu, formerly of New Jersey.
We humbly ask everyone to keep the family in your prayers as they navigate this immense loss, and as we come together to support them with love, strength, and unity.
