Dear Brethrens,

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Wilfred M. Mbugua of Tewksbury, MA on Friday, June 13, 2025.

Willie Mbugua was a loving husband to Susan Karanja Mbugua and beloved father to Benson Mbugua and Janet Wambui (USA). He was an adored brother to Richard Hinga, Susan Mbugua, Ben Mbugua, all in the US and siblings in Kenya — Alice Wanjiru, Steven Mutuma, Scholastica Kihara, Wafari Mbugua, David Kahuria, and Winnie Mbugua. To the rest of the world, he was affectionately known as Uncle Willie — a community pillar, father figure to many and friend to many more.

Let us stand together in prayer and solidarity with the family during this difficult time.

Prayer services will be held daily from 7PM – 8PM at the Mbugua residence, 119 Old Boston Road, Tewksbury. (Zoom link -coming soon)
