A sister may be fine, intelligent, smart etc., A brother he may be fine and you think he is the best thing since slice bread but, IS HE/SHE GODS BEST FOR YOU?, DOES HE/SHE HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIST JESUS?, IS HE/SHE GROWING HEALTHY & WHOLE SPIRITUALLY and NATURALLY TO BE ALL CREATED THEM TO BE? ETC. We were encouraged that the same way we go to a job interview and are asked questions about ourselves, previous employment, goals/aspirations, need references, we must do the same as singles before dating, while dating with the prospect of marriage. Who you married must be one who can and is willing to help you fulfill the purpose and destiny of God upon our life, they bring the very best of what God has put in us out of us, they love us(1 Cor. 13:4-7), encourage us, support us, stand in the gap and pray for us. One pivotal qualification of your spouse should be that he or she loves God. It’s better a broken relationship than a broken marriage.
Ladies were advised that men do not like desperate women. Transparency is the key to a great relationship. Let us all encourage each others visions and talents. Women need security and covering. God can and will keep, strengthen, provide and guide those of us who are still single as we wait for our future spouse. It is important that we keep our eyes on him and not look to the left or to the right who may be the Mr. or Mrs.... in our lives. Ruth was busy about the things of God. Boaz married Ruth, a HOLY Matrimony that bore and brought forth GOOD FRUIT, a son Obed, Obed the father of Jesse and Jesse the father of King David all descendants in family line of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Now that is DESTINY and PURPOSE!!!
